Tied is an event that centres and deepens the experience of being in rope.

In this recurring event, we will explore different topics and concepts about rope bottoming. The class will be divided into two parts, a talk/discussion/Q&A part followed by a practical session with meaningful exercises. We aim to create a safe space to discuss, express individual thoughts and exchange personal experiences. "Tied" actively encourages vulnerability and openness in discussions. The event aims to create a space where individuals feel safe to explore and discuss the intricacies of rope bottoming, knowing that their perspectives are valued and respected.

This is an all-levels class. Both couples and solos are welcome. We strongly recommend attendees to come as a pair / bring your tying partner (i.e. rigger / person tying with you). Everyone in the class is welcome to experience both being tied and tying. However, please be mindful of the time if you choose to experience both. Some exercises are specifically intentioned for switching partners.

Topics will include both hard and soft skills. Examples of potential topics that will be touched on:

1. Expressions and styles in rope

2. Safety, exploring risk profiles and vetting

3. Different aspects of communication

4. Growth, self-reflection and scene building

5. Physical health, exploring nerves, joints, back and the most common issues and mistakes

Tied will be facilitated by Anna Noctuelle . Anna is a highly experienced and versatile Shibari practitioner with over 18 years of experience. Her journey with Shibari began as a personal discovery and has since evolved into a multifaceted practice encompassing teaching, modelling and performing.
